Roath Church House in Waterloo Road, Cardiff has been a venue for Yoga for more than 40 years.
The first classical Yoga classes to run at the venue were taught by Mr Philip Jones, one of the world’s leading teachers until his death in 1998.
Mary spent thirty years training with Philip Jones, and during the last ten years of his life ran weekend retreats, training courses and groups at his side. Following Philip’s death, Mary brought her classes to Church House and carried on the tradition.

About the venue
Roath Church House is used by a range of community groups from the Roath/central Cardiff area.
The main hall is spacious, allowing for groups of 40-50 Yoga students to practice comfortably. On warm summer evenings the Yoga group may also use the spacious lawn at the front of the venue to practice warrior and triangle postures.
Sadly, increased rental charges have led Mary to move most of her classes to Bridge Cottage in Llanishen, with only the Wednesday evening classes now running from Church House.
